We'll beat competetor's bid!

We have every ounce of confidence that how we build our products and our efficiency will make us the clear cut winner when it comes to pricing.

Does this mean our prices are always lower than our competitors?

“No” is the answer to that question. The reason for this is we hold ourselves to higher standards of how we go about doing business. There are more loopholes companies can use when manufacturing awnings that it is difficult to determine when and wear they have been used. The biggest problem is that it would require taking apart the project after it was completed to prove any of this. We have no interest in going out and taking down an awning someone else installed to make our point.

My promise to you is that apple to an apple we will beat any competitors price. There are many different variables, of which only a few were mentioned above, that have a bearing on this endeavor of ours. The first place to start is if you think we have bid the exact same items and our price is not lower, send us a copy of the written estimate that you believe to be lower showing the competitors quote, and we will see if there is a clear difference between the two estimates. The estimates must be within 30 days of one another.

Does this mean we will always be able to find a difference between the estimates?

Again, there are still going to be ways that companies can use different materials yet they appear to be the same on paper. Here is just one of many examples of how a company can save money in the products they use.

There are multiple sources for 100% solution dyed acrylic materials. We choose to use Sunbrella which carries a manufacturers 10 year warranty and, in our opinion, is the clear cut leader in manufacturing the acrylic goods. If you look at some of the other manufactures out there of the acrylic products, it is difficult to tell the difference between their products from Sunbrella. These products are usually less money and most of the warranties for these are less than the 10 year warranty given by Sunbrella. It would be very easy for an awning manufacturer to sell “Sunbrella” but then not use this product on the project. The only way to determine if the product used was Sunbrella is to remove it and send it in to be tested. To see the difference with a naked eye is difficult.

This is unfortunate and all I can do is control what and how we go about conducting our business. There are just too many loopholes out there that can be used to cut costs, but on paper appear to be the same. I know in my heart and soul that our prices will not be beat if the estimates truly are for the exact same product. We will gladly spend the time to review the lower estimate and see if there is something there in writing to show where the difference is between the two estimates.

That is my promise to you as the owner of Four Seasons Awning.

Thank you,
