A leader in the outdoor fabrics market, Commercial NinetyFive 340 FR was specially developed for use in shade sails. The shade sail fabric is made from durable UV-stabilized HDPE monofilament and tape. It offers over 90% UV blocking capability with high tensile and tear strengths.
Designed to breathe, Commercial NinetyFive 340 FR allows air to flow through, creating a cooler space underneath. The fabric’s knitted, lock-stitch construction prevents tearing and fraying when cut. It features a unique stentering process that provides lay-flat characteristics to assist with accurate design and fabrication. For easy maintenance, the fabric resists mildew and the colors remain vibrant for years.
Applications include mid-sized shade sails, covers, awnings, canopies, and other fabric tension structures. Strong and stable, it provides optimal sun protection for commercial and architectural functions, like school playgrounds, sporting facilities, parking structures, outdoor cafes, car dealerships, outdoor pool areas, and more. The flame-retardant fabric works well in rectangle and triangle shade sail configurations.

This sail shade fabric is 100% lead and phthalate-free. HDPE fabric can be recycled. Commercial NinetyFive 340 FR has been tested for harmful substances to meet safety and sustainability standards.
